CHIP HUGGINS
CHIP HUGGINS is a native of Columbia and moved to Irmo when he and his wife Ginger married. Chip is an entrepreneur, small business owner, and is the Director of Business Development for Duraclean. He graduated from Columbia High, where he played varsity football and baseball. Afterwards, he attended USC and later graduated from Winthrop. Chip is a member of the St. Andrews Rotary and Optimist Clubs and currently serves on the Board of the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce. Chip coached local baseball teams and other youth recreational league teams in Irmo. He and his family are also actively involved with St. Andrews Presbyterian.

Worked for Governor Haley's plan for ethics reform and transparency

Voted to establish independent body to investigate ethics violations of legislators
INFRASTRUCTURE

Voted to restructure SCDOT and keep politics out of infrastructure issues

Works with federal, state, and county leaders to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
EDUCATION

Voted to eliminate Common Core in South Carolina

Increased funding to our schools and ensured those dollars follow students into the classroom
